Family Time

Thought these pics were fun. Here is the Weaver Fam at Woods Cove on our CA trip.

awesome article

Thought this article was so awesome. Must be some heavy duty prayer going up in Phili. This was really encouraging. Loved the title too. http://www.foxnews.com/printer_friendly_story/0,3566,268986,00.html

cousins

Thought I'de post some fun pictures from Auntie Heidi. Izzy had a lot of fun with his cousins Kylie & Kaden. As you can see from this picture, he was worn out from playing. We love & miss you Garretts!

Instant GratifiKATCHEN

Well - the only thing I can say about this post is that I am officially crazy. This is what happened last night. It is worthy to mention that all of our family renters were home, and my two year old son was "sleeping" (watching a movie) upstairs. It was also raining. Yes I am officially nuts. Kurto & I were so blessed by our friend Dave's help. Tonight we stain. More pics to come. (the clock time is not when we finished - it is when we started!

Tuesday

So today is Tuesday & not much has changed in the last 24 hours. I did manage to clean my oven today & give Izzy a haircut. After that last post I noticed his hair was very bowl cut look. New burts bees shampoo & a fresh kitchen cut & my sick boy never looked so cute. He only barfed once last night. Progress! We are also on a tornado warning and the thunder is so loud. This will be interesting as my basement is full of renters. A mom & dad, son Elisha, & grandma. We shall see. Ahhh... life in Missouri.

sick days

Today is a very long day. It is only 9:25am. When your day from the night before never really transitions into a period called sleep then it makes 9:30 seem like late afternoon. Izzy has a cold. Whenever he gets sick he barfs. He could have a broken arm, chicken pox, or a fever & it is countdown for the barfs. Last night was a very long night to say the least. He is watching a movie right now & I am taking a much needed brake. This is where a grande starbucks could really come in handy.

Disney pics

for some reason only one pic posted for Dland. Here are the rest

Disneyland

Just thought I would share some of the best pictures from Disneyland. It was Israel's and John's first visit to the park. We came early and left at 11pm. We had a great time. It was so special to see Israel's face during the fireworks. Definitely the best show I have ever seen.

California Dreamin...

Well we are back home again. What a wonderful trip. We had a smooth trip and great flight (thanks for the prayers). We were out visiting family. My last two trips have been under sad circumstances. This trip was full of loving family and fun memories. We brought along a pal from KC and showed him the ocean & Disneyland. It was so much fun to see Israel play with all the cousins, aunts & uncles, and grandparents. He definitely got spoiled. A few trip highlights included going to a good Friday Service at Coast Hills Church. It was a silent, dark, reflective service with candles, communion, music, and heart wrenching visual effects. This started my trip out well, preparing my heart for Easter and bringing a focus to the Resurrection and the cross rather than just eating an Easter meal and candy. Israel kept wishing everyone "Happy Easter Basket" on Easter. It was funny. Some other highlights included going to the tide pools, walking on the pier, going to Kurt's grandparents for Easter, Disneyland, Starbucks runs, and of course getting "Boost" back (thanks Auntie Heidi). It was great to be in Cali with Kurto. It is good to be home too. Israel is wiped out from too many adventures and little nap time. Thanks for everyone for making this trip so special. We love Kansas City and the house of prayer but we miss you bad.
