Freedom!

Well it might not look like it to you but it is freedom to me. There is nothing better than going out in the world after a week at home (minus a few days on Dani's couch). This was my first outing by myself other than my docs apt. I have driven through the drive through starbucks a few times but this is different. This is freedom. This is embarassing (for Kurt or actually anyone else watching), but not for me! I back up and go foward at my own pace. I don't even blink when I back into things & have the beep beep horn announcing that I am going in reverse. Ah yes. I am at Target riding on the old lady cart & things could not have been better. I didn't have a list. I had rules. Can't grab anything heavy (ie juice or laundry detergent), & can't grab anything else that is not kid height (no standing up). This explains how I got home and had captain crunch and pringles in my cart instead of special K and honey wheat pretzels. Oh it was grand. I parked in the front row. Sat down in my cart & went negative 2 miles per hour through every aisle. I had the nice checker man carry out my groceries & load them up while I wheeled out to the car. Nice! I am home feeling so accomplished and refreshed.

I'm so excited for your errand out!! It made me smile imagining you knocking into things and getting Pringles and Captain Crunch.

ha ha ha! This cracked me up! But, good for you for finding a way to get out without risking anything. ;) I would have loved to see you riding that thing around Target too.
