Thank You

Just wanted to say how grateful I am to all those supporting me through this process. All your comments, notes, time, meals & house visits have been so healing to my heart. I am almost through week 24. This week has been full of activity for someone sitting all day long. We have had much going on around here but that is another post. Israel is doing ok with me. He keeps asking me to play trains but that seems to be his only sadness. What is lacking in Thomas is not lacking in book reading, puzzles etc. I think I actually missed Izzy this week. He has been gone all morning long and having so much fun with all my friends. If only I could be Izzy next week and have my friends take me to all my favorite places, go exploring outside in the beautiful fall weather, pick out a pumpkin & get a Starbucks.(yes even izzy has my friends wrapped around his little Starbucks finger. Don't let this four year old fool you. The kid can pound a kids vanilla steamer in 2 seconds flat!)

It's great how the Lord provides friends who become your family when you're away from your blood line families. These are friendships you take with you through and for life!

Katchen - When Danie mentioned spending time with Izzy, I didn't realize why. I am so sorry that you all have to go through this trying time. I am so thankful for two things: that you have awesome community around you and that Aubrey will be so worth it! I am praying for you all - family and helpers...and baby girl.
