Happy Birthday Jesus... not Aubrey

I am thankful today. After a few nights with lots of contractions we have made it through the 25th (well almost) without celebrating another birthday. I think Aubrey just didn't want to miss out on all the fun around here. Someone blessed us with a train table that their son had outgrown and it turned out the perfect gift for a certain someone who LOVES trains. Kurto was daddyclause last night and put together the world's best track. My silly son got up, looked downstairs, fell down the bottom two stairs, gripped the wall a bit, then went out to look out the window. "I'm trying to look at something". He was a bit overwhelmed to say the least. He then proceeded to play with it for three plus hours. It was a hit. We feel so blessed this year. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. Next year we will be with family in CA. We are trying to enjoy this time in KC as our last special white Christmas. Love to all.
