today is September 11th and after reading through so much news my mind is boggled with the day & age in which we are living. It is good to remind myself of being at war with the terrorist and in the spiritual realm. I read an article that sparked my thinking today from cnn. Here is a line.
"Your leaders are hiding from you the true extent of the disaster," the fugitive deputy to al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden says in a lengthy video statement that appeared on Islamist Web sites late Sunday. "And the days are pregnant and giving birth to new events, with Allah's permission and guidance."
The days are pregnant & giving birth to new events. Sounds familiar. It is strange how the enemy uses the same language as God. It is because the enemy knows the day in which we are living. Satan knows the scriptures.
"Nation will rise up against nation, kingdom against kingdom... all these are the beginning of birth pains." (Matt 24:8)
I just can't get over the play by play. Evil knows that something is being birthed. Yet even evil is deceived. Satan still thinks that he can win. He desires the glory and even til the end will try and trick the earth into worshiping him.
I also read something awesome today...
"The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low. The Lord alone will be exalted in that day. The Lord almighty has a day in store..." (isaiah 2:11)
