Have your neighbor drop by fresh picked apples from her backyard apple trees.
Step two.
Peel cut eat. Repeat. If necessary snack with peanut better.
Step three.
Grab yourself a cute helper.
Step four.
Simmer all afternoon & make your house smell wonderful with the delicious fall treat of apple butter.

I would love to do this, but I think I'd have to drug the neighbor dog so that he didn't eat my leg, and steal apples from the neighbors... Our neighbors have beautiful apples in their tree, but they haven't exactly offered to share!
