the HIDDEN thicket
The Hidden Thicket is really Hidden. Hidden in sleepy, hot, and humid grandview. I suppose this is God's way of letting me rest while even getting paid. Today I was so productive. 8:30am made an arrangement. 9am read some. 10am read some more. 10:30am told a customer we do not have any fresh produce or nuts just flowers. 11am talked to kurto on the phone about the crazyness of borrowing a truck within a half hours time. 11:20am congratulated Kurto on finding a truck before his time limit was up. 12pm at some almonds and cheese now that it was officially afternoon. 12:48pm changed a light bulb. 1pm sweapt up one leaf and two petals. 2pm addressed all of july's newsletters. 3:30pm explained to the upstairs neighbor that no matter how fastinating his tomatoe was from across the street i just was too busy at work to go over to the farmers market or carry on a conversation with him in the back parking lot alone. 4pm got a free drink from a friend. made some flowers to take home. 4:10pm first customer of the day. sold 17.23 cents worth of sweet peas. 4:12pm missed home because i smelled sweet peas and thought of my mom's kitchen. 4:15 closed the store early and got the heck out of grandview.
